Aqara U50, U100, B50, and U300: Published Fit Checks

Compare published preparation screens for four Aqara models while keeping region, mechanism, and unlisted door details explicit.

These Aqara models have distinct preparation records. Use the measurements below as model-specific screening checks, not as a promise that every door or frame will work. Confirm the exact model code and market, then compare all required details with its current installation guide.

Compare the published preparation fields

Model record Published preparation details Boundary to keep in mind
U50, United States 60 or 70 mm backset; 54 mm face hole; 35–55 mm wooden door; 2–10 mm door gap Use the US product instructions and code for the US kit.
U50, Canada A separate Canadian product record lists its own model and package information and similar published preparation values. Do not infer package or regional parity from similar dimensions; use the Canadian listing and instructions.
U100, United States 60 or 70 mm backset, 35–55 mm door thickness, and 2–10 mm gap are among its published checks. These values do not document every bore, latch, strike, or frame condition.
B50 The product record lists 60 or 70 mm backset, 54 or 38 mm bore options, and 35–54 mm door thickness. Verify the exact bore and kit in the B50 installation material.
U300 The lever lock record lists 60 or 70 mm backset, a 54 mm hole, and a 35–55 mm wooden door. U300 is a lever-set model; do not treat it as a deadbolt replacement.

Two separate U50-style fit-record panels show a deadbolt and views of door measurements, emphasizing that the records are checked independently

Illustrative only: the US and Canadian U50 records and packages must be checked separately; similar measurements do not establish regional or package parity.

Match the mechanism as well as the dimensions

U50 and U100 are deadbolt products with separate model records. B50 has its own bore and thickness values. U300 is a lever-set product and therefore requires the matching lever preparation and latch arrangement. Similar backsets do not make these mechanisms interchangeable.

Three single-cylinder deadbolts are shown separately from a keyed entry lever set, illustrating their different preparation categories

Illustrative mechanism comparison only: match each model to its own installation instructions and latch arrangement.

Before purchase, compare the outside and inside hardware, latch or bolt, edge bore, strike and frame, door material, handing, and clearances required by the current instructions. If your existing holes are larger or smaller than specified, do not assume that a different model in the family will resolve the issue.

Four door-preparation views show door thickness, face-bore diameter, backset from the door edge to bore center, and the gap between door and jamb, with the strike shown separately

Illustrative measurement points only: confirm the model-specific values and separately inspect the latch, strike, frame, handing, and other details required by its instructions.

Match the market and smart-home setup

The U50 has separate US and Canadian records. Check the label and local package before relying on an installation or accessory detail from another region. Hub, wireless, and platform requirements are also model-specific. Confirm them after the physical door checks; a hub requirement cannot establish mechanical fit.

If the exact measurement or door arrangement is not covered in the model’s instructions, leave that part unresolved and contact Aqara. For a different integrated gate mechanism, see Aqara Smart Gate Lock U500 fit checks.
